General Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions outline the regulations governing the provision of massage services by Jervis Bay Remedial Massage “JBRM

When booking a massage or buying a gift voucher from JBRM, you are consenting to comply with these Terms and Conditions. They have been put in place to ensure professional service and show respect to our therapists.

General: Our therapists are seasoned professionals in the field of massage therapy. Clients are expected to treat therapists with the same level of respect they would offer to physiotherapists or your G. P. Prices and services reflect this professionalism and thus they may be changed to reflect current market prices (notification will be given in this instance)

Booking, Payment, and Deposits: Appointments can be made online or over the phone . A client intake form must be completed before the booking is confirmed. Credit card details are required at the time of booking.

Accepted Payment Methods: Secure credit card transactions are the preferred method at booking.

Cancellations and Appointment Changes:

  • We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 48 hours before the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee.

 

  • Jervis Bay Remedial Massage has a 50% late cancellation fee policy in place. Please be mindful we are a business and late cancellations need to be accounted for.

 

  •  Please call us to cancel if you are showing any signs of being unwell - even if this is within our cancellation period,

 

  • We will require your Credit Card details to secure your appointment(s). A cancellation fee has been implemented to ensure that we are no longer at a loss when people fail to show up or give reasonable notice prior to their appointment. Your understanding is appreciated

 

  • Less than 24 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee applies. Cancellations should be communicated via phone or the online booking system.



Delayed Therapist: Clients will be informed of any delays with the therapist. The duration of the massage will not be affected. Compensation will be provided for significant delays.

Client Delays: Clients are required to promptly inform JBRM of any delays. Every effort will be made to accommodate, but massages may need to conclude at the scheduled time.

Therapist Cancellation: In case of therapist cancellations, clients will be notified and offered rescheduling. Payments for canceled sessions will be refunded or credited upon request.

Gift Vouchers: Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Special offers or discounts do not apply.

Client Conduct:
Proper hygiene is mandatory.

  • Clients are to wear underwear during the session.


JBRM reserves the right to immediately terminate sessions for harassment, including sexual harassment, with full payment forfeiture.

  • Towel draping will be used to maintain privacy.

 

  • Clients are encouraged to communicate any discomfort or specific needs.


Health Conditions: Clients must disclose any health conditions or medications. Individuals with medical issues should consult with their doctor before booking a massage.

By booking a massage or purchasing a gift voucher from JBRM, you are acknowledging and agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.

Mobile Services Terms & Conditions

Punctuality and Personal Hygiene:
Kindly ensure that you are punctual and well-prepared for your scheduled appointment. 

Before your session, please observe good personal hygiene practices.

Parking Arrangements:
Make sure there is available parking for the therapist's at your location.

Pet Protocol:
Pets should be secured and not allowed to wander freely in the same room during the massage.

Clear Pathway Access:
Keep a clear path to your front door, free of obstacles, to ease the therapist's arrival.

Dedicated Massage Space:
Designate a clutter-free area for the massage table, ensuring it is pet-free and hazard-free.

Room Temperature:
Adjust the room temperature to your comfort level.

Scented Products:
Avoid using scented candles and incense due to possible allergies of the therapist.

Smoking and Vaping:
Refrain from smoking or vaping in the presence of the therapist.

Respect for Time:
Please be mindful of the therapist's schedule and their need to adhere to timing for subsequent appointments

  • We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 2 days before the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee.

  • Jervis Bay Remedial Massage has a 50% late cancellation fee policy in place. 

  • Please be mindful we are a business and late cancellations need to be accounted for. 

  • Please cancel if you are showing any signs of being unwell - even if this is within our cancellation period. 


We will require your Credit Card details to secure your appointment(s).

Referrals Terms and Conditions


Referrals

  • Customers who refer their family or friends to services will earn a 10 % discount from their next massage, this is dependent upon booking and subsequent payment of the service provided to the referred customer.

  • Customers who have been referred by a friend or family member will also receive a 10 % discount on booking and subsequent payment of their first massage

 

  • Referrals by a single customer cannot be accumulated and utilised on one service, they can only be applied individually as a discount to one service

 

  • At no time in the referral process will there be a discount greater than 10 %.
